I'm curious about the method for authenticating GTS NX licenses.
Answer
There are two types of authentication methods for MIDAS programs: "Web Authentication" used when connected to the internet, and "Hardware Lock Authentication" used by inserting a USB into the main body.
The two authentication methods are chosen at the time of product purchase, and you need to proceed with the authentication method accordingly when using the program.
Below, the step-by-step processes for each of the two authentication methods are classified and provided for your reference. Please follow them to proceed with the authentication.
1. Run'option'
After launching GTS NX, click on "Tools" in the top menu bar and select "Options" to open the Options window.
2. After selecting the authentication method, proceed with the authentication process.
Activate the license authentication window by clicking on "General" and then "License" on the left side of the opened "Options" menu.
- Web Authentication Method (Web Authentication)
1) Select [Web Authentication]
2) In the 'License' section, enter 'User ID / Password / Pre/Post-Processor Key / Solver Key'
3) Click the [Option Settings...] button.
4) In the activated 'Lock Option' window, select the product you want to use.
5) Click the [Update Status] button at the bottom of the 'Lock Option' window, then click [OK].
6) Click the [Apply] button at the bottom of the 'Options' window, then click [OK].
- USB Lock Authentication Method (H/W Authentication)
1) Insert the Hardware Lock you want to use into the main body.
2) Select [Standalone License (Security Device)].
3) In the 'Options' section, enter 'Pre/Post-Processor Key / Solver Key'.
4) Click the [Apply] button at the bottom of the 'Options' window, then click [OK].
