Displacement of the structure looks unrealistic. How can that be changed?

Answer

Usually, the deformations shown are not the real deformations, but
scaled up deformations.

The real deformations could be viewed by activating ‘Real Displacement’ under
Deformation Detail dialogue box.

Generally, the scaled up deformation makes it easier to verify or check for any abnormality in the structure behaviour on applying load. If however one is interested in real displacement or relative displacement, choose the corresponding options as indicated in the image above.

This feature can also be used with other Forces & Moment components.
