Why are no column cross sections appearing when I click into the Column Section Data for Design Module, even though I have assigned them in the base model?
Answer
To ensure the section is recognized under the RC Design tab, it must meet two criteria:
- The material must be concrete, as this is for RC (Reinforced Concrete) design.
- The alignment should be in the Z-direction for column design.
Referring to the model in question, the material property assigned to the column section is defined as 'User-defined', which is causing the issue.
To resolve this issue for the concrete material, please make the following changes:

Type of Design = Concrete

Standard = None
-
Under the Concrete tab, input the user-defined data.
After making the above changes, the sections will be visible under the Concrete Design tab.
