[GEN] How to Use the Zoom Functionality and Adjust Zoom Behavior

Question

Can I use the mouse wheel to zoom like in CAD, where the zoom focuses on the area I point to?

Answer

The zoom functionality in GEN does not work exactly as it does in regular CAD software. The software is designed with a fixed zoom behavior, and this functionality cannot be altered.

The zoom works as follows:

Scrolling the mouse wheel once activates the zoom mode.
Moving the mouse up or right zooms in, and moving the mouse down or left zooms out.
Alternatively, you can zoom in or out by scrolling the mouse wheel without moving the mouse.
To exit zoom mode, simply click anywhere within the model view window to return to normal mode.
