[CAD ID] How to generate a title for a drawing view?

Question

How to generate a title for a drawing view?

Answer

Before generating the title, make sure that you're currently working in the CIM mode of CAD ID.

Follow the steps given below to generate the Drawing title within the drawing view:

Step-1: In the command line, type the command "DTT" for Drawing Title creation and press the Enter key

In the command line, you will be prompted to select the drawing view for which the title needs to be created.

Step-2: Using the left mouse click, select the drawing view

Once the view is selected, the command line will prompt you to enter the name of the drawing view.

Step-3: Assign the drawing view name in the command line and press the Enter key

(For example, here we have entered the name as "Side Elevation of Pier")

After entering the name, the command line will prompt you to specify an insertion point for placing the drawing title.

Step-4: Using the left mouse click, place the title in the drawing view

(Note: The title can not be placed outside the Drawing view region.)

A final image after placing the title view in the drawing view is shown below:

By following the above-mentioned steps, we can generate the drawing view title in the CIM mode of CAD ID.
