How to change view style in CAD ID?
Answer
In CAD ID, users can modify the view display style of the drawing views generated. An example of modifying the
view style of a section view is highlighted in the steps below.
Several pre-defined view styles are available in the database of CAD ID. This can help users to quickly modify the
views with styles like adding hatch pattern, changing the line type and scale etc. with an ease.
Step 1 - Use cursor click and select the Section View
In the Properties panel, look for "Style" sub function.
Step 2 - In the properties panel at the Style sub function click on the attribute type "By Current" (default style)
A drop down sub menu with list of styles is displayed.
Step 3 - Choose the InfraDesign_Style S02 (General Drawing With Hatch) type
Once selected, the command bar displays a message "The updated style will be applied when View Update"
Now, to apply the changes let the Section View selection remain as it is, and use the cursor right click to activate
view properties.
Step 4 - Activate the view properties with cursor right click and select Update selected view.
The section updates and the new view style is applied.
The View Style Change function is complete. Similarly any view style from the list can be applied to section views.
