How to modify the text of a rebar schedule?

Answer

In CAD INFRA DESIGN, users can modify the content from a rebar material schedule as per convenience.

An example of the steps to follow is illustrated below.

Step 1 - In the Item panel of CIM mode use cursor right click at the title of schedule name and select Material                    Table Modify (M)

The rebar schedule window appears. To add/modify text and line style use the Layer and Text Style sub menu. 

Under the Column Title function a drop down for Text Style is shown.

Step 2 -  Select the icon with [...] as shown.

The Text Style window appears. Here several constraints are displayed for the modification of Text.

Style : Denotes the name of the Style loaded in the project.

Font : Denotes the list of in program text font style names in a drop down. And the Font Style allows to choose               the display appearance.

Size : Allows to control the height of the text to display.

Effect : The orientation of the text can be controlled here. 

Set to Current : The loaded style type is set as default to similar texts.

New : A custom Style can be created in the project as per requirement.

Preview : The final output before applying the changes is displayed in this box.

With the Style type set as Standard, to modify the the Text Style use the dropdown menu at Text Style Name.

Step 3 - Choose a new style name Arial Narrow.

Step 4 - Click on Apply.

Close the window 

Step 5 - Click on the icon X.

The Rebar Schedule window appears again. Now from the Text Style sub function drop down choose the desired Style name.

Step 6 - Click on Standard style type.

To apply the changes.

Step 7 - Click of Modify.

The Schedule in the model space updates and the changes are displayed.

The text style modify function is complete. Similarly, the text color and size can also can be modified.
