- Search for Load Type and active Dynamic Loads
- Go to Response Spectrum Data and Click on RS Load Cases
- Under the tree menu, choose an appropriate Scale Factor for your spectrum load case
2. During Load Combination Definition:
You can also apply the base shear correction factor while defining your load combinations.
- Click on Results
- Click on Load Combination
- Go to Steel Design / Concrete Design
- Click on Auto Generation ...
- Choose IS 456:2000 in Design code dropdown
- Use Scale Up of Response Spectrum Load Cases
These methods allow you to incorporate the necessary adjustments for base shear in a clear and efficient manner.
