Function
Create support lines by selecting support nodes and specifying the direction of the support line. Support lines are used as references for generating design strips in PT slab design.
Call
From the Main Menu
select [Post Tension] tab > [Design Strip] group > [Create Support Line]

Methods
Supporting Nodes
Create support lines by selecting support nodes in the model. Click the selection box and choose the nodes that define the support line.
Start Extension: Extends the support line from the first selected node to the start of the support line.
End Extension: Extends the support line from the last selected node to the end of the support line.
Ortho: Extends the support line from the selected node in the nearest horizontal or vertical direction.
Linear: Extends the support line following the actual alignment of the selected nodes.
Tracing Lines
Create support lines by snapping to a tracing file imported or created from the Structure tab. The support line is generated automatically along the selected path.
Design Strip Direction
X-Dir.: Creates the support line in the global X-direction.
Y-Dir.: Creates the support line in the global Y-direction.
Add
Click Add to create the support line using the selected method and direction.
