Function
- Enter or modify the Elastic Link data in a spreadsheet format using the Table Tool.
Call
From the main menu, select [Boundary] tab > [Tables] group > [Boundary Tables] > [Elastic Link]

Elastic Link tab
Node1 : Starting node number of the elastic link
Node2 : Ending node number of the elastic link
Type : Type for the elastic link
Angle : Angle defining the elastic link orientation
SDx : Stiffness in the link's local x-direction
SDy : Stiffness in the link's local y-direction
SDz : Stiffness in the link's local z-direction
SRx : Rotational stiffness about the link's local x-axis
SRy : Rotational stiffness about the link's local y-axis
SRz : Rotational stiffness about the link's local z-axis
Shear Spring Location : Shear Spring Location of elastic link
Distance Ratio SDy : Shear Spring (SDy) Location relative to the length of elastic link from i-node
Distance Ratio SDz : Shear Spring (SDz) Location relative to the length of elastic link from i-node
Group : Boundary Group in which the entered boundary conditions are included
Multilinear Elastic Link tab
Node1 : Starting node number of the elastic link
Node2 : Ending node number of the elastic link
Angle : Angle defining the elastic link orientation
Direction : Direction of each force-deformation function of the elastic link
Force-Deformation Function : Multilinear force-deformation relationship
Moment-Radian Function : Multilinear moment-rotation relationship
Shear Spring Location : Shear Spring Location of elastic link
Distance Ratio SDy : Shear Spring (SDy) Location relative to the length of elastic link from i-node
Distance Ratio SDz : Shear Spring (SDz) Location relative to the length of elastic link from i-node
Group : Boundary Group in which the entered boundary conditions are included
