Function
Assigns load combinations to the design verification categories used in the post-tensioned slab design process.
Call
From the Main Menu
select [Post Tension] tab > [Design] group > [Design Parameters] > [Modify Column Location]
Input
Add / Replace: Assign a new column location classification or modify an existing classification.
Delete: Remove the previously assigned column location classification.
Column Location
Interior: Defines the selected column as an interior column surrounded by slab panels on all sides.
Edge: Defines the selected column as an edge column located along the slab perimeter.
Corner: Defines the selected column as a corner column located at the intersection of two slab free edges.
Critical Section
Distance from Column Face: Specify the distance from the column face to the slab free edge used to define the punching shear critical section.
Direction
Select the slab edge direction relative to the column.
+y: Slab free edge located in the positive local y-direction.
-y: Slab free edge located in the negative local y-direction.
+z: Slab free edge located in the positive local z-direction.
-z: Slab free edge located in the negative local z-direction.
Distance: Specify the offset distance from the column face to the slab edge in the selected direction.
Apply: Apply the specified column location settings.
Close: Close the dialog without applying changes.
