Truss Force & Stress Result Table

Function

  • Check the internal forces and stresses of truss elements from the analysis results in a spreadsheet format table.
  • Table Tool in midas Civil offers a variety of powerful built-in functions. Refer to Usage of Table Tool for detail directions:

Call

From the main menu, select [Results] tab > [Type : Analysis result] > [Table] group > [Result Tables] > [Truss] > [Force & Stress]

From the main menu, select [Results] tab > [Type : Analysis result] > [Table] group > [Result Tables] > [Truss] > [Force]

From the main menu, select [Results] tab > [Type : Analysis result] > [Table] group > [Result Tables] > [Truss] > [Stress]

Input

Refer to "Truss Forces", "Truss Stresses")

Upon executing the Truss > Force & Stress Table function, Records Activation Dialog prompts. Click OK after selecting the output entities such as nodes or elements, loading conditions, construction stages, etc.

NOTE.png Refer to the Results Table in the "Usage of Table Tool" for instructions on how to use the Records Activation Dialog.

Refer to the usage of the Table Tool to examine the following data.

Elem : Element number

Load : Load case/combination

Stage : Construction stage

Step : Sub-stage

Force - I : Axial force at node i (N1) of the truss element

Force -J : Axial force at node j (N2) of the truss element

Stress - I : Axial stress at node i (N1) of the truss element

Stress -J : Axial stress at node j (N2) of the truss element
