What's New in MIDAS CIM V210
[Property] Sub-Property — Quantity Extraction Based on Object Sub Shape
You can define and assign properties such as 'Plywood Formwork', 'Steel Formwork', and 'Formwork Deduction' to specific Faces or Edges of a member.
This enables detailed quantity item extraction (formwork area, painting area, etc.) based on object information.
- Use Define Sub-Property to define property name and type (Area/Length), and
Assign Sub-Property to directly select faces and edges in the 3D view to assign properties.
- Vertical/Horizontal Surface filters and Tolerance settings improve face selection convenience.
Assignment results are automatically reflected in Basic Property and Quantity Set, and included in Export data.

[Property] Excel-Based Property Integration (InfoX Sheet)
CIM model property data can be exported to Excel and edited externally, then the changes can be directly applied back to CIM, enabling bulk editing and synchronization of properties in the familiar Excel environment.
- Six Basic Property Sheets (Member / Tendon / Stiffener / Bolt / Layout / ETC) and PROP/QTY sheets can be generated as an Excel file.
- The Object Name Updates option allows batch updating of object names modified in Excel directly to CIM.
- All Excel functions, including logical and mathematical functions, can be utilized for quantity calculation within the Excel environment.

[Property] Default Property/Quantity Set — Automated Response to Client Requirements
Property and Quantity items required by the client can be pre-defined as a Default Set, so that object information is automatically populated on Export.
Once a P/Q Set aligned with client delivery standards — including WBS, identification, and product information — is configured, it is applied to all objects at once.
- Default items are provided per Category (Concrete, Steel, Rebar, Tendon, Stiffener, Bolt, etc.), and users can freely
add or edit fields.
- Defined Default Set information is displayed separately from existing fields in the Field Viewer,
allowing direct review and editing within CIM.

[Quantity] Automated B.O.Q. Quantity Summary Table Generation
A quantity summary table can be automatically generated as an Excel file based on the Structure hierarchy.
Quantities by work type and structure are automatically aggregated, significantly reducing quantity takeoff time.
- Select Structure and the aggregation Level to generate the BOQ. The aggregation Level can be selected by the user.
(default L2/L3/L5/L6).
- Both Default QSET and User QSET are reflected, with automatic separation by work type and specification.

[Export] Enhanced IFC Export Integration
Basic Property information added and defined through the above features — including Sub-Property and PROP/QTY sheets — is reflected as PSET/QSET on IFC Export.
Data compatibility with external BIM software has been strengthened.
[InfoX Sheet] Data Processing with Excel VBA
Property data exported from CIM via InfoX Sheet can be processed using Excel VBA functions.
Customized quantity data post-processing, such as formwork calculation by segment, is available to meet project requirements.
